Talent Bucket has partnered with a start-up commercial egg producer in Batangas to conduct a search for suitably qualified candidates to undertake the position of Disease Prevention and Control Officer.
Our partner company is a start-up commercial poultry layering farm. The large-scale farm is a 9-hectare lot with 9 layering houses and 1 breeding house. Each layering house is home to 45,000 hens.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing routine preventative measures form the next line of defense against disease.
• Responsible for providing a clean and hygienic environment through good poultry farming practices.
• Responsible for recommending and ensure a suitable vaccination and disease prevention programs are in place.
• Regularly observe birds for any signs of ill health or problems within the flock.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Graduate of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Poultry, Agriculture or other related course
• Poultry farm experience an advantage
• Knowledge in ISO QMS 9001-2000, ISO 22000- 2005 FSMS
• Knowledge in HACCP, SSOP, and GMP
• Proficient in Computer applications : MS word, excel, & power point
