Laboratory Analyst

Position Summary:
Monitors, analyzes and inspects the wheat, flour and pasta products according to the standards set by QA and R&D Department and specifications required by different customers.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Conducts physico-chemical test based on laboratory procedures and quality plan for in-process and finished products
2. Do sampling and physical inspection of flour prior to release and packaging materials prior to acceptance
3. Issues certificates of analysis to respective customers
4. Checks and assesses products on-hold, rejects or returned products by clients.

Qualifications:
1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Food Technology and related course
2. Preferably a Registered Chemist or Chemical Technician
3. Newly Graduates with good academic record and a recent Chemist or Chemical Technician board exam passer are highly encouraged to apply
4. At least six (6) months experience in a laboratory or in a manufacturing company
5. At least 5’2” in height
6. Has the ability to monitor quality of products
7. Knowledgeable in good laboratory practice
8. Computer literate
9. Good verbal and written communication skills
10. Amendable to work in a shifting/rotating schedule
