2. Provide a safe, effective and early return to work/or facilitate restoration of the employee's health to an optimal level of functioning through both work-related and non-work related case management.
3. Ensure employees receive prompt, high quality care for personal illness or injury and gain access to the health care system and proper use of health care plans.
4. Provide health coaching and information to facilitate lifestyle changes in order to enhance employee health and performance.
5. Provide international travel and health and safety programs including preventive health, safety, and medical resources where applicable.
6. Maintain company clinic.
7. Brings concerned employees to nearest hospital in cases of accident or ailments requiring urgent medical attention or hospitalization in the absence of the Company Doctor.
8. Schedules annual medical examination for employees and coordinates with the accredited hospital or clinic for conduct of the same.
9. Maintains and updates individual medical files of employee.
10. Conducts home visit of employees who go on sick leave for three (3) or more days.
11. Checks employees who report to work after going on Sick Leave (SL) and issues Fit-to-Work clearance if everything is in order.
12. Validates prescriptions, receipts and other supporting documents for medical reimbursement before endorsing to the Administration Manager for approval.
13. Participates actively in the safety program of the company, particularly on training and education.
14. Maintains an emergency fund to be used for urgent medical expenses.
15. Requisition for medicines and medical supplies and monitors consumption of the same for replenishment purposes.
16. Posts health circulars on bulletin boards for the information of employees.
17. Maintain and updates record of employees medical allowance balances.
18. Assists employees in the documentation of claims to the SSS, Philhealth, and other government agencies.
